Courses by level
Study level decides eligibility, duration and which entrance exams apply. Start from the level you are admitting into.
Study levels
- Certificate coursesShort, skill-first programmes that run from a few weeks to a year. Useful for adding a specific competency without committing to a full degree.
- Diploma coursesOne- to three-year programmes with a strong practical bias. Polytechnic diplomas also open lateral entry into the second year of a B.E./B.Tech.
- Undergraduate coursesBachelor-level degrees taken after Class 12. This is where most entrance exams apply, and where fees, ranking and placement records matter most.
- Postgraduate coursesMaster-level degrees taken after a bachelor. Admission usually runs through a national or university entrance exam plus an interview round.
- Doctorate coursesResearch degrees with coursework, a qualifying exam and a thesis. Admission depends on your research proposal and the supervisor available.
- Integrated coursesDual-degree programmes that combine a bachelor and a master in one admission, typically five years, with a single fee structure.
